An Evening by the Seashore

Yesterday, Mom took us to Willowbank's pier where we fed the fish and had our supper. Then we went down to the beach to take some photos and collect seashells. The tide was very low, which is the perfect time to find seashells which are normally underwater. Herons know this too, and they love wading in the shallow waters and tidal pools to find stranded fish or a lost crab. I thoroughly enjoyed our time by the sea and had fun taking so many photos!

Enjoy!

This Yellow-crowned Night Heron just found a small crab for his dinner!

The heron left his footprints behind in the sand!

Jude found this interesting shell in the sand!

We found this shell standing upright!

One lovely sunset!
